About QA Consulting and the NS Academy

QA Consulting is a leading provider of Consulting and Managed Services to world leading Commercial and Financial institutions. QA Consulting have vendor partnerships with Adobe, Oracle, Puppet Labs, Thunder Head, MuleSoft, Pega and ServiceNow.

The award-winning QA Academy offers STEM and Computer Science Graduates training and certifications across many high in demand, but low in supply technologies. Our 12 week training pathway provides a solid development foundation including Enterprise Architecture and Java, you will then move on to your own individual learning pathway in a niche technology.

These technology specialisations include:

DevOps, Big Data, Enterprise Middleware, App and Web Development, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security.

Our Graduate Programme is designed to fast track you into a Software Development role. Once you successfully complete the Academy you will then progress your career as a Graduate Software Developer at one of our many high-profile clients.

Salary/Benefits:

• A salary of £23,000 OTE for year 1, £28,000 for year 2 progressing to £42,000 for year 3 and beyond.
• Free accommodation in Manchester, Media City throughout your training
• Annual trip abroad once you have been a consultant for 12 months

So what do you need?

• A 2:1 in Computer Science or STEM subject
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Geographical flexibility to work across client sites in the UK
• Flexibility to commit to QA Consulting for a minimum of two years
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of coding in at least one programming language, preferably Java
• A keen interest in computer programming and software development
